Quattro - Concrete Batching to Horn Lane - Drop-in

Wed, 11/21/2018

Quattro wants to move its concrete batching operation to Acton Goods Yard on Horn Lane. They have to close their existing facility in Park Royal because of the eventual arrival of HS2.

This will be a significant concern to residents and workers in the area since this would lead to more heavy vehicles using Horn Lane plus the extra air pollution and noise.
The air quality in the area has been notoriously bad over the years but has been improving recently.

Crossrail is soon to open and will mean more people using the area and there are plans to bring more people into the area through the redevelopment of Friary Park.
Bringing additional traffic, and in particular heavy slow trucks, noise and pollution is not what we think the local residents and workers, now and in the future, will want to happen.

There is an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and have your say at North Acton Pavillion, Eastfields Road (in North Acton Park) on Wednesday 21st November 2018 between 4pm and 8pm.

Attached is a photo of the brochure on behalf of Quattro announcing the drop-in event. It is being distributed locally. If you live or work in the area and have not received it then let the council and Quattro know since they have to show that the community is being consulted and if you found out about it without receiving a brochure then there are probably many others around you who will have no idea what is being proposed.
